When I grow up, I want to be a physical education teacher, just like Mom and Dad...or maybe a cartographer...no wait a marine biologist...well, actually, a composer and concert pianist...why was I not born during the Renaissance?
When I grow up, I want to be a professional skier and photographer. I want to make movies like Warren Miller and Gregg Stump. I want to ski like Scot Schmidt and my Dad. Maybe someday I’ll look for a real job.

When I grow up, I want to be a marine biologist working in the tide pools of Southern California – or a photographer, or make video games, or just go live in the mountains.

When I grow up I want to go to all the cool places I’ve seen in National Geographic magazines...so maybe I'll work in the Peace Corps... or become a professional photographer… or an international food critic and get paid to go to faraway places and eat exotic food!

I want to be a businessman when I grow up, mainly because my parents own a business and I've always been around their work. Beyond that anything "computer related" as we have always had a computer since they first came out and I am always playing around with it.

Between the ages 6 and 11, my life was consumed by the acquisition and manipulation of Legos. If my mom didn’t make me clean my room periodically, the floor would have been covered wall to wall with a lego civilization, complete with public transportation, a space program, and a representative government. It hurt like hell to step on them in bare feet though.
What was the question? Oh, a Fireman.

When I grow up, I want to be a beekeeper, a medicine man and a plesiosaur. Somewhere in space-time, where an old woman tosses abstract blessings into a wishing well, where entropic clusters of notes become song in a deep ocean gallery of hands, the great storytellers sit and smile at one another. I want to meet you there.
