Welcome to GlobeStarter!
The objective of our GlobeStarter service is to give clients a low-risk way to test the waters of international marketing. In today’s global economy the opportunities for sales in markets outside the US are waiting to be seized. But the initial cost of translating a huge amount of content for a website or for product documentation often creates a hurdle that many companies simply cannot overcome.
That’s where GlobeStarter comes in. For only $97 you can create a landing page on your website that is translated into whatever language you think will be the best target for your product or service. The webpage will outline your sales pitch and offer a call to action to turn page views into leads. The package also includes translation of a Google AdWords campaign. After publishing the new language campaign for your new target markets, you can use Google Analytics to see how much traffic your new page is attracting and from what countries.
What you provide
- A copy of an HTML page from your website to be used as a template
- Either a 250 word sales pitch or a completed questionnaire that Glyph will provide
- List of meta tags: 1 title tag, 10 keywords
- One Google AdWords text ad and your top 3 keywords in English
Note: You will need to setup and manage your own AdWords campaign. The English text ad you submit to Glyph must conform to AdWords specifications. Glyph provides only the translated text ad content and the keywords. We are happy to discuss target markets to help you focus your campaign.
What Glyph offers
- Editing of English content to make it easier to translate
- Translation of the content and meta tags into any of the following languages:
- Spanish (Latin America or Spain)
- French (Canada or France)
- German
- Italian
- Portuguese (Brazil or Portugal)
- Japanese
- Chinese (PRC or Taiwan/Hong Kong)
- Korean
- For other languages contact Glyph
- Creation of a new webpage
- Translation/adaptation of 3 keywords for use on Google AdWords
- Translation/adaptation of 1 text ad for use on Google AdWords
Your final implementation
- You load new page to your webserver (your webmaster will help). The new page should be placed in the same directory as your English landing page to avoid breaking links.
- You create a new Google AdWords campaign focusing on their target market (you define daily budget for ads)
- Using Google Analytics you track traffic to this new page, and pages to which users navigate after reaching this landing page to determine need for additional translation of pages. Add pages as you need them to keep costs down.
- You track new lead/sales generation to determine need for additional translation of site or other collateral. You may also choose to test out a different language and market.
Note: If you are new to Google AdWords, do not be intimidated. The setup is simple and fast. Glyph will help guide you through the process to make it pretty painless.
